Virtus, The British Sixth Form College, is the first Sixth Form College in Spain, to offer a British education in small class sizes, before the student's university journey. Founded in 2016, we have since helped our students reach their maximum potential, both on a personal and academic level, by providing a very personalized and holistic approach to education. 

Over the past seven years, the project has evolved and expanded substantially. Virtus is moving to a prime location in Madrid, La Moraleja, starting September 2023. We are progressively expanding our capacity from 30 students in our current premises to a maximum cohort of 90 students, accounting for 45 Year 12's and 45 Year 13's. Our mission is to maintain our innovative and personalized approach to British Sixth Form education as the key to every student's success and well-being. 

Virtus is looking for a full-time Psychology A-Level Teacher, whose main responsibilities will be teaching International A-Level Edexcel/Cambridge Psychology to both Year 12 and Year 13 students. This job is very well suited to vocational and committed teachers who wish to fully exploit the school's technological environment, and share our innovative vision on British Sixth Form education. Ideally, candidates should have full confidence and previous experience in teaching the A-Level curriculum.

Additionally to the role of Psychology A-Level Teacherthe candidate will also play the role of the Special Educational Needs Coordinator, implementing our SEN policy and coordinating support for pupils with SEND with the rest of staff, and supporting the Head of Mentoring in the design and coordination of the Personal Development branch of our Mentoring Programme. This branch builds on the student's personality and strengths, setting them to be the best version of themselves through individual and group sessions that promote self-reflection, engage them with new topics and empower them to handle their specific challenges.
