As part of an innovative structural organisation and its students, we seek an Academic Administrator & Exams Officer

That will play a crucial role in supporting the school's academic operations and examination processes and deputising for the Operations Manager and will be required to provide leadership across the full spectrum of support functions in the school, including line management responsibility for one or more functions within the school’s support structure. This multifaceted role requires a dynamic individual with strong organisational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and effective communication abilities. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the school's academic operations and examination processes, as well as providing crucial support for HR and Admissions. Collaborating with the front-of-house/reception team, you will contribute to creating a welcoming environment for students, parents, and visitors.

Responsibilities:

 

1. Academic Administration:

·       Provide comprehensive administrative support to the academic team.

·       Assist in the coordination and organization of academic events, meetings, and conferences.

·       Maintain accurate records of student academic information and progress.

 

2. Exams Management:

·       Oversee the organization and smooth running of examinations in accordance with examination board guidelines.

·       Liaise with teachers and examination boards to ensure all exam-related logistics are well-coordinated.

·       Manage the exam entry process, including registration, scheduling, and logistics.

 

3. HR and Admissions Support:

·       Provide administrative support to the HR department, including record-keeping, document preparation, and correspondence.

·       Assist in the admissions process, handling inquiries, processing applications, and coordinating admissions events.

 

4. Front-of-House/Reception Collaboration:

·       Work closely with the front-of-house/reception team to ensure a welcoming and efficient environment for visitors, parents, and staff.

·       Handle inquiries and provide information to parents, students, and visitors as needed.

·       Support the front-of-house team during busy periods or special events.

 

Qualifications:

·       Minimum of 2 years of experience in academic/corporate administration.

·       Strong organisational and multitasking skills with exceptional attention to detail.

·       Proficient in using office software and administrative systems

·       A willingness to learn and develop new and existing systems and processes.

·       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

·       Knowledge of HR and admissions processes is an advantage.

·       Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic educational environment.
