The de Ferrers Trust is a Multi Academy Trust comprising three Secondary Academies and four Primary Academies, currently based in Staffordshire and Derbyshire.

The Pingle Academy has an excellent opportunity for an effective and driven individual to join their newly restructured Business Team.
You will report to the Business Office Manager and support the Academy in the day-to-day operation of the Finance function. As the Academy Business Officer - Finance, you will be an integral part of the team, ensuring high standards of financial integrity within the academy are maintained at all times. You will manage the day-to-day financial processes, such as processing of purchase invoices, preparation of invoices for payment, recovery of debts and administrative procedures required from the academy, ensuring compliance with the requirements of the Academy’s Financial Handbook.
You will be professional, able to maintain confidential information and have a can-do attitude. You will also have the ability to work accurately, with attention to detail and strong communication skills.
Finally, you will be educated to GCSE level (C grade or equivalent). Any professional qualifications in Finance, as well as experience within an educational setting, will be a distinct advantage.
The position will be offered at 37 hours per week, working weeks are term time + 3 weeks, working hours to be discussed at interview.
