This is an exciting time to join the Diverse Academies Learning Partnership (DALP). DALP consists of two Academy Trusts, the Diverse Academies Trust (a multi academy trust of 5 Academies) and the National Church of England Academy Trust.
Working with the Executive Principal of Retford Oaks Academy and Tuxford Academy, we are seeking an Academy Director to proactively lead Retford Oaks Academy.
The academy was judged to be requiring improvement by Ofsted in May 2015. Promisingly, the academy was judged to be making effective progress in its most recent HMI monitoring inspection (December 2015). We have given a commitment to our students, parents and staff that the Academy will be outstanding within two years.
The Governing Body and Trust Board are seeking to appoint a high quality educational leader who will build on the academy’s proud tradition of exceptional care and support for our students. We now seek to secure equally exceptional outcomes for our students.
The growth of DALP over the next few years will provide excellent career development opportunities to support other academies as they join DALP, as well as career progression through our leadership and management structure into Principal, Executive Principal, Executive Lead, Deputy CEO and CEO roles.
To be successful in this role you will essentially be an experienced senior leader with the ability to deliver a strong vision. You will possess a DfE recognised teaching qualification as well as knowledge of Post 16 leadership. A strong passion for lifelong learning you will motivate and inspire students, parents and our committed staff. Further to this you will have a proven track record of achieving high standards for students along with your excellent interpersonal skills.
