An exceptional leader is required to lead this 11-18 Academy of 1300 students in the delightful setting of Torbay in Devon.

Following the retirement of the current Principal, Bay Education Trust is looking to appoint an energetic and inspirational Headteacher who will lead the Academy on the next phase of its development.

The Trust is seeking a leader who: 

  • Has high aspirations for pupils, staff and the local community
  • Is relentless in raising standards
  • Has the skills to inspire and challenge others
  • Is committed to social inclusion
  • Is able to work effectively with the other Headteachers in the Trust to benefit all students and their families
  • Has the interpersonal skills and drive to ensure all young people fulfil their potential

Interviews will be held over a two day period between November 28th and
December 9th.

The Academy is situated in Torbay and is part of the beautiful English Riviera.  It is within easy reach of stunning beaches with golden sands, rolling countryside and Dartmoor.  It is also a short drive from the new South Devon link road, which brings a host of benefits including easy access to the Historic City of Exeter and its surrounding areas.
