The Bulwell Academy is an 11-18 academy serving families in and around the Bulwell area of Nottingham. We are seeking an Academy Improvement Leader for Science to join our extended leadership team.
The successful candidate will:
• Ensure that teaching and delivery of the Science curriculum is of high quality and that outcomes are at least in line with those expected nationally.
• Provide professional leadership to a team of teachers and support staff, ensuring high quality teaching and learning across Key stages 3, 4 and 5.
• Develop innovative approaches to the curriculum in order to ensure appropriate access and achievement for all students.
• Monitor, evaluate and report on the effectiveness of practice in the curriculum area.
