In this academy, only excellence will do.” (Ofsted, 2014)

We are looking to appoint a School Nurse who will undertake the responsibility for all first aid and welfare provision across Dixons Music Primary and Dixons Trinity Academy.  You will be expected to be part of the Safeguarding Team and have the confidence and ability to provide targeted Individual Needs support e.g. counselling to students on a regular basis and running 1:1 and group sessions with students.  You will be a qualified Nurse with experience of working with children.  The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, working alongside existing staff to promote the on-going health and welfare of the school community.

The right candidate will be totally aligned to our values of hard work, trust and fairness and completely committed to our mission: the academy will ensure that all students succeed at university (or a real alternative), thrive in a top job and have a great life.

At Dixons, we have very high expectations of staff, but we value them highly.  We invest heavily in staff development and, as growing schools, we will offer many career opportunities in the coming years.

Above all, we are looking for someone who: is fully committed to the vision and ethos of the Dixons group of academies; will contribute fully to a can-do culture and a continuous drive for improvement; and someone who has, at their heart, the happiness, well-being, self-esteem and progress of everyone at the school.

Dixons is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.  Successful applicants will need to undertake a DBS enhanced check.
