Bobby Moore Academy is now recruiting for an Academy Operations Manager. This role could be an ideal next step in your career. f you are ambitious, inspirational, creative, open-minded, and want to be part of our success then we want to hear from you. 

This is an important and high profile role to support both the Central School Operations Team and Academy Senior Leadership Team. The role holder will be responsible for leading the implementation and compliance of non-educational functions of the Academy including Administration, Health & Safety, Maintenance & Facilities, Catering, Cleaning and Finance, in accordance with Trust policy and procedures.

About our Academy

The Bobby Moore Academy offers a world-class education for the children of East London. With an iconic integrated 4-18 site adjacent to the Olympic Stadium, we opened the doors to our very first cohort of year 7 students in september 2017. The school has quickly established a strong reputation for excellent pastoral care, behaviour for learning and our pupil's high standards of uniform, manners and conduct.

In September 2018, a further 180 Y7's joined the new secondary site, as well as reception classes in the primary building. With outstanding facilities for learning, growth and creativity, we're focusing on laying great foundations for the future.

About you

Educated to GCSE Level or equivalent including English and Mathematics

Highly organised and efficient and able to work to tight deadlines, often under pressure

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to relate well to a wider range of stakeholders

Experience of working in an operationally demanding role

Experience of working independently with little supervision

Experience of organising senior meetings

Experience of contractor management

Able to organise, lead and motivate staff at all levels

Able to promote inclusion at all levels

Able to promote the safeguarding and welfare of children and young people across the Trust

Salary & Benefits

Up to £40,000
