Our Finance Department plays a key role in supporting the schools through accurate financial reporting, effective budget management, and regulatory compliance.
The Role
We are looking for a proactive and organised Accountant to support day-to-day financial operations, ensure compliance with local regulations, and contribute to effective financial planning. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a well-structured finance team in a respected educational environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare monthly and annual financial statements and reports
Maintain general ledger accounts, journal entries, and reconciliations
Monitor budgets, expenditures, and financial records
Ensure compliance with Qatar’s financial regulations and international accounting standards
Assist with internal and external audits and liaise with auditors
Provide accurate financial data and analysis to support management decisions
Support and collaborate with other members of the Finance team
Qualifications and Experience
Essential
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent)
Minimum of 3–5 years’ relevant accounting experience
Strong proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills
High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail
Desirable
Experience in an educational institution or international organisation
Knowledge of Qatar’s financial and tax regulations
Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle
