ArtsEd 's School of Acting is seeking to appoint for September 2021,  a suitably experienced, creative and dynamic teacher to teach across each of our Foundation, BA and MA Courses.

The successful person will be joining a highly skilled team of dedicated specialists providing world class actor training

About ArtsEd

Our foundation courses focus on developing the core skills and confidence, preparing students for the rigours of degree level training.

Our contemporary BA actor training course for Stage, Film, Television and Audio prepares students to become world-leading artists, theatre-makers and performers in all genres, by focusing on the ever-evolving developments in the creative industries.

Our MA Acting course offers rigorous and intensive vocational actor training that enables students to unlock their potential as highly skilled, creative and autonomous actors.

Our tutors are inspiring, passionate industry professionals; our outstanding record of graduate success sees three-quarters of our Acting graduates make their professional debuts within six months of graduating.

We constantly strive to ensure that inclusivity and diversity sit at the heart of everything we do. We are a founding partner of the Diversity School Initiative, which addresses under-representation and the lack of diversity in performing arts education, and we recently won an Industry Minds award for our approach to mental health awareness, support and action.

This year, we were awarded TEF Gold, the highest rating from the Teaching Excellence and Student Outcomes Framework and, for the third year running, we were ranked in the top-five drama schools for student satisfaction in the National Student Survey.

The Arts Educational Schools London, is an independent secondary school and higher education provider based in Chiswick, West London.

The Arts Educational Schools have their origin in schools founded in 1919 by Grace Cone and in 1922 by Olive Ripman. The Cone and Ripman schools were pioneers in providing  talented children with a general academic education in conjunction with specialised training in dance, drama, music and art, preparing young men and women for professional careers in or connected with the theatre. In 1939 the two schools amalgamated to become the Cone Ripman School.

Today ArtsEd continues to support a world–renowned,co-educational, independent vocational school for pupils aged 11–18 years as well as a professional conservatoire, with two main divisions, offering BA and MA degrees in Acting and BA, and MA degrees in Musical Theatre, all of which are validated by City University and accredited by Drama UK.

ArtsEd is extremely proud of its outreach programme which is central to their commitment to ensure inclusivity across everything they do. Building strong links with youth groups, colleges and sixth forms, ArtsEd aims to provide talented young people with a clear pathway to vocational training and to introduce them to the unique energy and welcome of ArtsEd.
