Welshpool High School requires a highly motivated, forward-thinking and dynamic teacher, with the ambition and drive to lead all aspects of Additional Learning Needs provision , as well as relevant and recent experience of ALN provision.

Currently, Welshpool High School has 888 students, including 137 6th Form students.

Welshpool High School is 11-18 comprehensive school situated in the market town of Welshpool, set in a beautiful rural area on the Wales/England border, within easy reach of the towns of Shrewsbury and Oswestry, two National Parks and many areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. In the last two inspections the school has been judged Good in all areas. The school is well respected and popular within the local and wider community, with a team of dedicated staff ably supported by a strong governing body.
