Twyford School is an independent day and boarding school for boys and girls aged 3 – 13.
It is one of the oldest prep schools in the country, possibly the oldest. We are proud of our heritage and the beautiful history and architecture around the school. Located on the edge of the South Downs National Park 3 miles outside of the beautiful historic city of Winchester, we embrace Christian values and teach children from the earliest ages to be gracious, considerate and respectful of others.
We are also proud of having some of the most modern facilities and forward thinking approaches to education. Classrooms are modern, bright and well-equipped with the latest technology. Our sports and outdoor facilities are simply outstanding.
We are seeking an inspirational and energetic qualified teacher to teach three days per week within the Pre Prep department at Twyford School. The successful candidate will have experience and specialist qualifications in teaching pupils with additional needs, preferably with children aged 4 - 7. This is an exciting opportunity to work with the support of our Hub team and our Pre Prep team.
The successful applicant will be expected to play a part in the wider life of the School, both inside and outside the classroom. It is expected that all teachers are fully involved in the extra-curricular life of the School.
