We are looking for educators with a genuine passion for transforming the lives of disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners 

Our mission is to raise the standard of educational support offered to vulnerable young people in the UK and working with compassionate educators is integral to this.

Tutoring with us is a unique opportunity to utilise your previous experience supporting additional educational needs - including supporting learners with a SEND, those who are care-experienced, and learners with SEMH needs - to make a real difference. 

We are looking for tutors who are eager to work with the children and young people we support in a holistic and trauma-informed manner to raise their engagement and drastically improve the outlook of their educational journey. 

Tutoring with Targeted Provision is unlike most tuition as we keep the team around the child and you will be supported throughout every placement by our team of SEND Support Specialists.

Being a tutor with us will involve providing impactful support and being creative and flexible in your delivery and methods of teaching for a variety of learning needs. 

Whether your specialism is primary or secondary education, SEND interventions, mental health and pastoral support, EAL or you enjoy creative teaching through drama, arts and activities, it is likely that our young people need your expertise.


Requirements: 

  • Professional Teaching Qualifications (QTS) 
  • Minimum 2 years teaching experience 
  • Experience working with young people with Additional Educational Needs 
  • Enhanced DBS (we can help obtain this at cost if needed) 
  • Two professional references

It is a strict requirement that you have the ability to work in a way that promotes the health, safety and wellbeing of children and young people.

Pay: 

  • The gross pay for this role will range between £25 p/h - £30 p/h 
  • We support a wide range of needs and offer a variety of support for young people, and pay will depend on the specific work being offered. Further information on this can be provided at interview stage 
  • All gross pay offered will be constituted of a base rate + 12.07% holiday pay


Employment Status: 

  • This position involves engaging with us as a Worker, to provide short-term engagements as and when they arise 
  • You will work through a contract for service and will be paid via PAYE 
  • We do not offer any set amount of work nor expenses coverage 
  • Our insurance covers the work you do for us
