As a Reprographics Assistant, you will be responsible for providing an efficient and up-to-date reprographics and learning resources service to students and staff. At the request of colleagues, you will support with the production and delivery of internal exam papers, booklets and leaflets as required. In this role, you will be expected to maintain all reprographics equipment to ensure it is in working order, managing the costs of materials and monitoring the stock levels of relevant stationery and equipment.
Alongside the reprographics duties, you will be part of the main school reception team. As such, you will support effective communication across academy teams, ensuring pupils receive the support they require, dealing with queries from parents, composing academy letters, ordering supplies, preparing items for postage and ensuring all visitors to the academy follow the sign-in procedure and have the appropriate security clearance.
As this is a forward-facing role, you should provide an exceptional front-of-house service for our academy. You must be approachable and welcoming along with having excellent organisational skills, confidence, the ability to communicate confidently and an understanding of safeguarding children.

Responsibilities
This dual role focuses on delivering an efficient reprographics and learning resources service. Key technical duties involve photocopying materials for staff and students, including internal exam papers, and maintaining all reprographics machinery, undertaking routine maintenance and ordering supplies.
The Assistant provides general clerical and administrative support, assists with internal and external meeting arrangements (including minute-taking), and administers the academy’s postal system. Other duties include ordering stationery, managing academy displays, and liaising with the finance department regarding recharging.

Qualifications
Candidates must possess considerable experience working in an administration/office environment, specifically including experience using photocopying equipment. The role requires the ability to communicate effectively and build positive relationships with colleagues and the critical capacity to respect and maintain confidentiality.
Furthermore, proficiency in using standard ICT packages, including Microsoft Office, and the ability to work well under pressure and manage competing deadlines is essential.
