Job overview
Longsands Academy is looking for a pro-active and efficient person to provide administrative support as part of the school Admin team. Responsibilities will include working on the Bromcom database, maintaining accurate records, HR administration and general office tasks. You will also be expected to provide cover for other roles, including First Aid, Reception, Attendance and Reprographics when required.
You will ideally be highly proficient in Microsoft Applications, have experience of working as part of a team, in a school environment and prior experience of HR or confidential administration would be an advantage. A current First Aid at Work Certificate is desirable, together with an up to date knowledge and understanding of the practices and procedures within education relating to the welfare and safety of students.
Hours: 37 hours per week, 8am to 4pm Monday to Thursday, 8am to 3.30pm Friday.
Longsands Academy is an 11-18 fully-inclusive secondary school serving the community of St Neots and the surrounding area. The academy has around 1750 students including 250 in the Sixth Form.
