Queenswood School is Situated in a peaceful rural setting, we are an independent, specialist school providing education and care services to children and young people aged 11-19 years, with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) difficulties and a range of additional needs. This includes attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), attachment disorder, oppositional defiant disorder (ODD), pathological demand avoidance (PDA), moderate learning difficulties (MLD), specific learning difficulties (SpLd) and an autistic spectrum condition (ASC).

The post holder will be expected to:
- Maintain confidentiality and observe Data Protection guidelines
- Uphold the school’s ethos of positive relationships between colleagues, pupils, parents
- Respond to children in a sensitive yet professional manner, recognising the importance of their welfare and well-being
- Undertake any necessary training associated with the duties of the post.
- Understand and comply with the school’s Equal Opportunities and Health and Safety Policies, and will attend any staff training programmes as required

Queenswood comprises of the main school site, The HUB (located off site) and 6 nearby residential homes. Whilst we enjoy a rural location, we are still well connected, just two miles from Ledbury train station, on a main bus route from Ledbury to Hereford and with good links to the M50.
