Job overview
We require an Administrative Assistant for Reception to enhance our Admin team.
The position is for 35 hours per week working Monday - Friday; term time plus one week; 39 weeks per year (one week for staff development training days). For the correct colleagues, we are open to this position being split between two people, one for morning shifts and another for afternoon shifts - this will be discussed at interview.
Reception is the first port of call for all visitors, staff and students when they arrive in school and over the telephone. Our reception staff are a crucial part of the success at Trafalgar School.
Working under the guidance of our Operations Manager and alongside an exceptional team of experienced administrators, this role undertakes daily attendance records, welcoming all visitors, signing students in and out, photocopying and other general admin duties.

The Trafalgar School at Downton is an oversubscribed mixed, non-selective, non-denominational academy, situated in the village of Downton, south of Salisbury, Wiltshire.
There are approximately 780 students at the school between the ages of 11-16. The Trafalgar School is a founding partner of Magna Learning Partnership, a multi academy trust.
