About this Role
We are looking to recruit an Admin Assistant to support our Admissions Officer and main office.
Hours of work
This is a part-time maternity cover role working 15 hours a week on two days. These two days can be Monday and Tuesday or Tuesday and Wednesday. A working day is 7.5 hours with a 30 minute unpaid lunchbreak. The start time will be agreed with the successful candidate, but will be between 7.30am and 8.00am.
The successful candidate will
- have office administration experience, ideally in a school and having used Microsoft Office and SIMs
- excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- be able to prioritise workload and multi task
Our School
Carshalton High School for Girls, a member of the Girl’s Learning Trust, is a high achieving school in the suburbs of south London. Confirmed as “Good” by Ofsted in January 2023, we achieved our best exam results to date in Summer 2024.

Carshalton Girls is a successful and welcoming school for girls aged between 11 and 18. The school has expanded in recent years, is popular in the local community and has a growing Sixth Form. The student body in our school is truly diverse, both in heritage and educational starting point.
