The Castle School meets the individual needs of 173 pupils between 5 and 19 years, all of whom have learning difficulties. We are seeking an admin officer to join our team at The Castle School, based at our post 16 provision. 

You will be the first point of contact at The Castle School’s Post-16 Unit, responsible for all administration, including answering phones, liaising with the school’s main office and Newbury College arranging site maintenance.

You will have excellent people skills and be able to communicate confidently and effectively, both orally and in writing. You should be competent at multitasking, have impeccable attention to detail, good communication skills, the ability to work with minimal supervision and prioritise workloads in order to meet deadlines, whilst being flexible and able to work with staff at all levels.

Applicants will need to have excellent people skills and a warm and caring personality. The ability to communicate effectively with pupils, parents and other staff is important. Opportunities for training are available and all staff are encouraged to take up these opportunities.

Hours - 8:00-4:00 Monday to Friday (3:30 finish on Friday)

Closing date - 7 October 2022
