We are seeking a Secretary/ Administration Officer to undertake a diverse range of administration tasks within our busy school office. You will work as part of a highly collaborative team providing services to parents, students, school staff and the wider school community.

Duties Include:
- telephone and email management;
- administration of filing and
online management systems (eMinerva);
- assisting School Leadership with
various administration tasks;
- ordering products/school supplies; managing parent slips;
- organising parent teacher interview systems;
- undertaking print and laminating tasks;
- assisting with organisation of school events and
activities;
- creating weekly school newsletters and first aid duties (First Aid
certificate required).



You will have:
- at least two years administration experience;
- sound Microsoft
Office skills,
- display proven communication and interpersonal skills
- and the ability
to multi-task.

To be eligible to be considered for this role you will:

  • hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement;
  • be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment; and
  • have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education.


Estimated start date: 
Commencing Monday 27th February 2023

Position tenure:  Continuing

Weeks worked:  Up to 52 weeks per year including school holidays

Tenure duration (where Fixed Term)

Total Paid Hours (per week) & days required: 38 hours per week Monday to Friday 41 weeks per year.

Salary level, range or hourly rate: School Officer Level 4 Full Time $33.52 per hour

Employment conditions: Diocesan Catholic Education Employing Authorities in Queensland Single Interest Agreement
