Job overview
We are seeking to appoint a full-time Administration Supervisor to join our established team of administrative staff. This is an exciting opportunity to assist with the coordination and development of the school office at this popular school, previous school experience is preferable but not essential.
Caldew is a well-established secondary school in the Dalston area of Carlisle. We have over a thousand students and state of the art educational facilities including internal and external sports provision.
The Supervisor will perform a number of functions including:
- Working with the School Business Manager to coordinate the work of our Administration Team.
- Take a lead role in the planning, development and organisation of support systems and procedures.
- Help maintain the content of the school website.
- Take a lead role in the development and maintenance of records and information systems.
- Perform line management functions within the Administration Team including performance management, recruitment and training.
- Assist the School Business Manager in relation to securing service contracts, contingency and business continuity.
