WORKING PATERNS: Full Time (37.5 hours per week), term time only

JOB PURPOSE
To provide highly professional and wide-ranging operational support as part of the administration team; working with the Office Manager, PA and Operations Administrator, and Receptionist to ensure the smooth running of the academy’s front office and administration function.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Prepare standard correspondence, letters, and forms using academy templates or dictated content.
• Support the administration team with photocopying, scanning, filing, and data entry tasks.
• Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with data protection requirements.
• Monitor and maintain stock levels of stationery, forms, and supplies for the admin area, placing orders when necessary.
• Provide support for academy events, parent evenings, and meetings as required.
• Follow all safeguarding, health and safety, and confidentiality protocols at all times.
• Support key academic events, such as the annual examination series and mock examination series, working with the examinations officer.
• Work with the MIS and data manager to ensure student records are accurate and up-to-date, using the school MIS, Bromcom.
• Provide efficient and professional administration services to staff, students, and other stakeholders as required.
GENERAL DUTIES
• To uphold the vision and values of the Group in every aspect of the role;
• Develop strong working relationships both personally and on behalf of the school with internal and external stakeholders; including, trustees, governors, members, representatives from employer partners, the DfE and others.
• To lead by example and model the highest professional standards to staff, students, parents and partners in all aspects of the role;
• To meet regularly with the Principal and be accountable for your own performance management;
• To attend meetings as required;
• To ensure effective use of resources to the benefit of all staff and students;
• To comply with health and safety rules and legislation, ensuring the safety of students and staff at all times;
• To comply with all policies and procedures of the BOA Group.
• Any other duties commensurate with the level of this post and as directed Chief Executive Officer.

BOA Digital Technologies Academy is an exciting 11 to 18 school that opened in September 2022. Located in a brand new and purpose built building in the hub of the digital and creative industries situated around the Eastside and the Knowledge Quarter, BOA Digital provides a distinctive education through a digital and creative curriculum.

The Academy is a growing school. We currently have circa 360 students on roll in Key Stage 3 and we are preparing for our first cohort of student to enter Key Stage 4 and commence GCSE studies in September 2025. BOA Digital will also have a sixth form provision proving advanced level pathways into careers in the digital sector, which will open in 2027. 

BOA Digital is part of the BOA Group, home to sister schools BOA Creative, Digital and Performing Arts Academy next door to Millenium Point, and BOA Stage and Screen Production Academy in the Jewellery Quarter.
