We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, organised and highly effective Administrative Officer to join our friendly, hardworking and professional staff team.
This is an exciting opportunity for an administrator who enjoys working in a busy environment and takes pride in providing an efficient, professional and welcoming service to students, staff, parents and visitors.
As an Administration Assistant, you will play an important role in the day-to-day running of the school. You will provide high-quality administrative support, maintain accurate records, respond to enquiries and work closely with colleagues across the school.
About you
We are looking for someone who:
Has excellent organisational and administrative skills.
Is confident using Microsoft Office and other IT systems.
Has excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Can prioritise effectively and meet deadlines in a busy environment.
Is accurate, reliable and able to work with discretion and confidentiality.
Has a friendly, professional and positive approach.
Can work independently while also being an effective team member.
Has experience of working in an administrative role, ideally within an education setting.

Saint John Henry Newman Catholic College is a Catholic Secondary School located in Chadderton, Greater Manchester. It falls under the Diocese of Salford.
The school was formed in 2011 from the amalgamation of St Augustine of Canterbury RC High School in Werneth, Oldham and Our Lady’s RC High School in Royton. The merged school was originally based over the two former school sites, but moved to a new building.
