Join our busy and welcoming school office team! Become our Administration Assistant at The King’s School, part of Pontefract Academies Trust.
We’re looking for an organised and professional Administrative Assistant to provide high‑quality support to students, staff, parents, and visitors.
In this role, you will:
Work as part of a supportive administration team to provide an efficient and professional service to students, staff, parents, visitors and external partners.
Carry out a range of financial administrative tasks, including processing orders for goods and services, raising purchase orders and preparing associated invoices for payment.
Support the administration of educational visits, ensuring accurate records, communication and logistics are maintained.
Manage general communications using the Trust MIS (BromCom), helping ensure information is timely and clearly shared across the school community.
Undertake Student Support duties, including delivering First Aid, as required
Provide reception cover when required, greeting visitors warmly, ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed and supporting with general enquiries.
Assist with general administrative duties and data input to ensure efficient day‑to‑day operation of the school.

This is a permanent role to be worked 28 hours per week, term time plus 5 days) equating to 195 working days per year.
Working Pattern: Monday – Friday between 08:00 – 17:00. Final hours to be agreed to mutually suit the needs of the school and successful candidate.
