Farleigh Further Education College Frome is an independent specialist residential college for young people aged 16 to 25 with autistic spectrum disorders, Asperger's syndrome and associated complex needs including behavioural difficulties.

The college has eight residential houses in the community each with its own identity, working ethos and dedicated team of staff. This provides learners with the opportunity to experience independent living in a range of different settings.

We aim to provide every young person with an individually tailored programme of education, care, work experience, leisure and life skills and training within the community, to enable them to live as independently as possible.

We are seeking an administrator to join a busy College Administration team where high standards are a must.  The successful candidate must be able to take accurate notes at key meetings and produce reports that reflect the salient points and the professional image of the College. They must also be able to manage some day to day financial activities as required, such as petty cash, placing orders and processing invoices. This role may also include an element of reception cover.

The role holder should have an eye for detail ensuring all information and documentation is correctly processed in line with Priory policies and procedures in order that regulatory, statutory, compliance and financial requirements are met.

As a member of the Admin Team the successful candidate will also handle external and internal enquiries, prioritising as appropriate, and undertake other administrative tasks as required.

The successful candidate should be educated to GCSE level or equivalent standard, with a high level of English and numeracy; possess excellent keyboard/PC skills and ideally a knowledge of Microsoft Office.  Experience of minute-taking would be an advantage.
