Administrative Assistant

38.75 hours per week term time only plus four weeks

Grade 4 point 4 £22,398.00 pro rata per annum (£26,242.12)

Albion Primary School is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Administrative Assistant to join their growing admin team.  A good working knowledge of MS Office programmes, databases, good word processing skills, appropriate experience and proven organisational skills are essential.  An excellent telephone manner, a sense of humour, accuracy, enthusiasm and flexibility are also required.

Exercising a high degree of integrity and confidence, you will act as the first point of contact at Albion dealing with front line enquires from staff and visitors, providing a professional and efficient reception service and representing the school in a professional and friendly manner. As part of the wider office team, you will provide comprehensive administrative support to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the organisation and be responsible for a range of administrative duties.  Working closely with your colleagues, you need to be a team player and assist with the coordination of events and first aid at the school. 

The ideal candidate will preferably have experience in similar role within a busy school setting, have a proactive approach in liaising with parents, visitors and guests and can demonstrate the ability to remain calm in challenging and pressured situations.
