Working Pattern:      Term Time only (including 5 INSET days), plus 2 weeks during periods of school closure

Working Hours:         36.25 hours per week, 8am-4pm Monday-Friday

Location:                   Office-based at Ashton on Mersey School

The Dean Trust is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic individual to fulfill a hybrid administration role. The successful candidate will be required to support the administration of 2 functions; Central Services Health & Safety and Ashton on Mersey School Careers.

The time spent working on each function will be split; 2 days per week for Careers and 3 days per week for Health& Safety.

The role will involve providing proactive and reactive administrative support to each function such as:

-       Coordinating and facilitating meetings with a range of different stake holders

-       Organise, schedule and manage careers appointments

-       Coordinate and arrange guest speakers

-       Maintain management information systems

-       Assist the Trust Health and Safety Manager and Trust Executive in creating and embedding a proactive Health and Safety culture across the Trust

-       Assist with accident investigation and reporting

-       Assist with monitoring of Trust Health & Safety compliance

 The successful candidate will ideally have proven experience working in a fast paced office environment

and understand the diverse and wide range of tasks that are involved with working in an administrative capacity. 

Knowledge of the latest Microsoft Office packages is essential.
