About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and talented Administration Officer to join our committed and generous staff. You will be working with supportive members of the team, as well as active parents and students who take pride in our school. The position involves supporting and working under the direction of the school’s office manager.  Experience in the area of administration is essential. The applicant must have a sound knowledge of the applications in Microsoft Office and be willing to learn school based programs. The successful applicant will deal with students, staff and parents on a daily basis so a professional presentation and strong interpersonal skills are necessary.

Essential Criteria

Successful applicants for the position will have:

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality;
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team;
  • Professional experience and working knowledge with computer software packages including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint);
  • Strong planning and organisational skill;
  • Good time management and attention to detail;
  • Good interpersonal skill with a courteous and cooperative approach;
  • Good communication (both oral and written) and negotiation skills;
  • Demonstrated capacity to undertake administrative tasks efficiently and complete them in a timely manner.
