Hours of work: 22.5 hours per week, 39 weeks


We have a vacancy for an enthusiastic and well organised administrative assistant at Harrold Primary Academy. Your work will include reception duties, greeting visitors, answering emails and telephone calls, inputting attendance and school lunch orders, managing pupil records including admissions data, overseeing arrangements for school trips and after school clubs plus general office duties.

The ideal candidate:

  • A good educational background - GCSE qualifications or above
  • Experience of working in a school or office environment
  • Experience in working in an administrative environment
  • Possess outstanding communication skills and can work well in a team
  • An understanding of child protection and safeguarding issues

The Academy was formed on the site of Harrold Lower School and Harrold Priory Middle School, opening its doors to the pupils aged 4 - 11 years in September 2017. The Academy celebrates and values their learning community and encourages children to respect each other’s cultures, faiths, and traditions.
