Dulverton Primary School is a vibrant, happy and successful two form entry school, ‘tucked away’ in a quiet residential area. The successful candidate will be joining extremely friendly and hardworking staff who are committed to ensuring that our children become ‘the very best versions of themselves’.
We are looking to appoint a friendly and welcoming administrator to join our small and supportive office team. They will be the first point of contact for all visitors, parents, pupils and staff members. They will play a crucial role in creating a warm and welcoming environment in our busy school office.
The successful candidate will work both as a school receptionist and within the busy school office delivering an excellent administrative service to the whole school community. We are seeking an individual who is well-organised, efficient, flexible, calm, friendly, motivated and passionate about providing an excellent support service to all stakeholders. They will be part of a team of talented, committed and diligent staff, all of whom are aligned in their passion for ensuring that all pupils, parents, staff, visitors and Governors receive a high quality service whilst ensuring Safeguarding measures are adhered to.
The role is varied, dynamic and very fast-paced. Excellent communication skills are essential as is the ability to work professionally under pressure to meet deadlines. An aptitude to operate flexibly within the changing needs of the school is also essential, as is enthusiasm, commitment and a willingness to play an active role in the life of the school.

This post is a customer-facing position and falls within the scope of the Code of Practice on English Language Requirement for Public Sector Workers. The school has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the JD/Person Specification.
