The Role

Chulmleigh Academy Trust is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, organised and friendly person to join our committed and hardworking administration team. 

The role is to provide comprehensive administrative support and to provide cover for our busy Reception. 

The successful candidate will need to be confident with excellent interpersonal, communication and IT skills, able to provide an efficient and friendly service for parents, pupils and visitors to the College. Experience of working in a school environment would be an advantage, although not essential as training will be provided.

This exciting role is term-time and based at Chulmleigh Community College and will involve working closely with the other schools within the Trust.  This post is for 20 hours per week, with the likely work pattern to be 9.15am – 1.15pm.  Flexibility to accommodate other work patterns, on some occasions, would be beneficial. 

The College

In February 2018, an Ofsted inspection confirmed we were a Good College where pupils consistently make exceptional progress.   GCSE results at the College are consistently outstanding and we are delighted with the outstanding +0.51 Progress 8 success achieved by our students in 2018, which is ‘well above’ the national and county average. Ebacc results have consistently been amongst the best in the region.  Our students are keen to learn and recognised for their exemplary behaviour.
