Job overview

The Connie Rothman Learning Trust is seeking a highly organised, friendly and proactive part time,  (2 days - 15 hours (one of which must include a Friday)), term time only, Administrative and Finance Assistant to join our dedicated school office team. This is a varied and rewarding role that supports the smooth day-to-day running of our school and contributes to the positive experience of pupils, families and staff.

About the Role

Working under the direction of the Business Manager, your responsibilities will include:

Providing high-quality administrative support across the school

Entering financial data onto Xero and carrying out financial tasks in line with school procedures

Administering the school’s MIS system to ensure accurate, timely and secure data management

Welcoming visitors and managing telephone and email enquiries

Supporting general office tasks such as filing, printing and photocopying

Assisting with the organisation of after-school clubs, parents’ evenings, meetings and school events

Maintaining pupil attendance registers

Contributing to the development of a paperless office and improved administrative systems

Working collaboratively with other office staff to support a smooth and efficient office environment

Carrying out any other reasonable duties within the scope of the role

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

Organised, accurate and attentive to detail

Confident using IT systems, including Microsoft Office

Professional, approachable and able to communicate effectively with pupils, parents, staff and visitors

Able to learn new systems (training will be provided for Xero and MIS)

A strong team player who can also work independently

Flexible, reliable and able to prioritise a busy workload

Experience in school administration or financial administration is desirable but not essential.

The role is on a permanent basis, 15 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (8.30am - 4.30pm - 30 minute lunch).
The FTE equivalent salary is: £26,409 - £27,711 pro rata (Actual salary £9,060 - £9,507)
