Fernvale Primary School is looking for an enthusiastic Administrative Assistant to work part time in our school office.

Working hours: 16 hours per week Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday 9.00am - 1.00pm for 39 weeks per year (Term Time + 1 week to be worked during staff training days)

Grade: 5 (£8.19 per hour)

Job Purpose: To support the School by providing confidential, effective and flexible administrative support and an efficient and courteous Reception Service

You will have:

  • A good standard of general education, with strong IT skills and experience using standard office ICT programmes (e.g. MS Word, Excel, etc.);
  • Experience of dealing with queries from parents, children and the public;
  • The ability to prioritise your work and to deal with a wide range of situations.
