As an Administrative Assistant, you’ll help make your school run like clockwork. You’ll be involved in running the reception and supporting the Senior Administrator with managing the day to day administrative tasks associated with running a busy school. With your efficient, professional approach you’ll be responsible for accurate files and production of reports.

To join us, you’ll need some previous administrative experience and a high degree of computer literacy (Word and Excel). You should be used to working on several administrative tasks and be able to switch between them, whilst providing excellent customer service to people contacting the school. Just as important is an approachable, helpful nature, you should be ready to support our team and build a natural and respectful rapport with our young people.

For children with complex, challenging needs, the level of care and education must go above and beyond. That’s what drives us, here at Witherslack Group. Through our aspirational homes, schools and ethos, we’ve achieved the highest possible outcomes. In short, we’re enhancing life opportunities.

Our large, picturesque campus is surrounded by woodland, with beautiful outdoor spaces and the school building itself is breath-taking. We are very much part of the community here in Walton-on-the-hill, often found on the 10miles of cycle track or on our shuttle bus for staff from the local transport links (commutable from both Croydon and central London). Add to the fact that we’ve installed amazing new learning spaces and a great supporting team and it all adds up to a truly uplifting, fun teaching environment.

Reward

We know you’re going to do great things. We offer a salary and benefits package that’s among the best in our sector. You’ll enjoy a competitive salary, contributory pension (matched up to 5%), Life Insurance based on two times your annual base salary, comprehensive induction and ongoing training, 35 days’ holiday (including bank holidays),

Medicash Health Plan/Employee Assistance, and Cycle to Work Scheme. Witherslack covers DBS Enhanced check costs to all new employees.
