Administrative Assistant, 36 hours per week, 39 weeks per year,

The Governors are seeking to appoint an Administrative Assistant to assist with a wide range of administrative duties in the busy main office of this school. Duties are wide-ranging and will include (amongst other duties): welcoming visitors, answering the phone, dealing with queries from students and staff, general secretarial support, administration and dealing with emails. In addition, this post encompasses the administration for the Duke of Edinburgh Award. St Michael’s Catholic Grammar School is a small school with a distinctive Catholic ethos. Students at the school are very well behaved and the school is a very pleasant working environment.

This is a new post in the support staff structure of the school. This person will work under the direction of the newly-appointed Office Team Leader and will form part of a small team of office staff. Ofsted

“St Michael’s is an outstanding school. Standards are exceptionally high, amongst the highest found nationally, both at GCSE and A level, and continue to improve.  The [then-] headteacher and her deputy provide outstanding leadership. They, very ably supported by the senior leadership team, have a strong vision for the education of girls rooted in the Catholic faith, which contributes so much to the ethos of the school.”
