Administrative Support to School Centered Initial Teacher Training

Salary: Grade C £18,198-£18,933 FTE £9.43-£9.81 Per Hour

Hours: 22 hrs a week- Term Time Plus 2 Weeks

Part-Time Permanent position

Overview

We are looking for a motivated, and skilled Administrator to provide Administrative support to the Senior SCITT Administrator and to the NWSCITT Programme Manager. Who will provide full administrative support to all aspects of administration related to North Wiltshire SCITT, and include general office management. This role is varied, and we are looking for an adaptable and flexible organised individual.

Main Responsibilities

• Support the administrative service to the SCITT including dealing with all enquiries and correspondence, telephone, face to face, visitors and written correspondence for the SCITT.

• Be the first point of call for all external agencies, partner schools and potential applicants.

• Be able to maintain effective electronic and paper filing systems, data bases, spreadsheets and web content.

• Be able to handle sensitive and confidential information paying due care with storage and transfer of this information.

• To liaise with external agencies for bursaries and funded courses.

• You will ensure you follow the correct safer recruitment guidance, ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed, including completing DBS checks, NCTL. References, pre- employment screening etc.

• Provide excellent Customer service to students by providing appropriate guidance.


The successful candidate will have: 


• GCSE English and Maths at Grade C or above

• IT literate including Excel, Publisher and Word

• Good interpersonal skills with external individuals at all levels and within the Team

• Proven ability to work on their own initiative 

• A high level of communication skills 

• Team Player 

• Highly organized with a can do attitude and a great eye for detail.
