We are currently looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our Central Services Team and become instrumental in supporting the Trust in its continuous growth.
The purpose of the role is to provide efficient and effective support to the Marketing and Executive Assistant Team, Maiden Erlegh Institute and to relevant stakeholders (Central Services and Maiden Erlegh Trust Schools).
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a customer facing/admin role.
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Working knowledge of social media platforms (Twitter, Instagram, Linkedin, etc).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels.
- Excellent organisational and planning skills, time management and the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
- Exceptional attention to detail.

Since 2014, when Maiden Erlegh Trust was established, we have expanded to become six schools serving Berkshire and South Oxfordshire covering the breadth of educational provision from EYFS to Post-16 in mainstream, special and alternative provision. We also have two new free schools: Oak Tree School which opened in September 2023 (a special school providing 150 places) and pre-opening phase: River Academy opening in September 2024 (a secondary school in the heart of Reading providing 1,500 places).
Our schools are supported by the Central Services Team at Maiden Erlegh Trust who provide a range of business services and support our partner schools in carrying out their statutory responsibilities and core business functions.

Maiden Erlegh Trust was established in October 2014, when we received approval to open a new free school to serve the needs of students in East Reading. Maiden Erlegh School in Reading opened its doors to students in September 2015.
Since then, we have welcomed Great Hollands Primary School (Bracknell), Maiden Erlegh Chiltern Edge (Sonning Common), Hamilton School (Reading), Cranbury College (Reading) and River Academy (Reading) into the Trust. We are a growing family of schools and are poised for a most exciting future.
