Administrative Officer for Earlsmead School and Earlsmead Children and Families Centre

Hours of work: 8.45am – 4.45pm
Reporting to: School Business Manager (SBM)

Earlsmead Primary School requires a committed and hardworking individual to work with the administration team in supporting the school. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with good telephone, typing and general clerical skills are necessary for this job.

Main objectives
To assist the School Business Manager in providing full administrative support to the school to facilitate outstanding teaching and learning.   This will include a wide range of duties covering administrative, clerical, financial and reception duties.   To act as P.A. to the Headteacher.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Strong multi-tasking skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Excellent inter-personal and communications skills
  • Good ICT skills to provide administrative support to staff and Headteacher
  • The ability to handle confidential information sensitively
  • A commitment to safeguarding children
