This is an important role within our organisation, providing support to our schools by assisting the Procurement Team with various administrative tasks. Your contribution will enable the team to efficiently procure goods and services, ensuring pupils get the most out of the funding available for their education.
You'll be helping the Procurement Team manage and deliver procurement services across the Trust's schools. This involves dealing with general email queries, processing and analysing data specific to the procurement team, supporting the sourcing of goods and services, managing supplier relationships, and maintaining accurate data files and meeting records. This position directly contributes to cost-effective procurement while supporting educational outcomes and operational efficiency.
No prior procurement experience is required, as full training will be provided. For those keen to develop further, we also offer opportunities for additional training, professional development, and the chance to study for industry-related qualifications.
To apply for this position, you need to have:
- Experience in supporting across a range of administrative activities, including the management of the team's emails and drafting meeting notes.
- The ability to work in a consistent and structured manner that adheres to regulations, policies and best practices.
- An analytical mind to review spend analysis, find trends and identify where we can improve the value for money offered from our suppliers.
- Excellent communication skills across a variety of stakeholders and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records and work with a strong attention to detail.
- The ability to plan and prioritise work to meet commitments aligned with organisational goals.
- Full driving license and access to a vehicle as required.
