Salary range:       NJC Grade C, £18,795 - £19,554

                                Per annum, pro rata, subject to experience

Hours:                   Part time, 35 Hours per week

Contract Type:   Permanent,  Term Time, 39 weeks per year


The Role

Morice Town Primary Academy is looking to recruit an experienced Administrator to support the whole school in a wide range of administrative duties.  

The job involves working within recognised procedures and policies and will include reception duties, answering routine telephone & face to face enquiries from a range of stakeholders including parents, staff and students.   

General administrative duties including maintenance of manual and computerised records/management systems, updating social media sites, financial administration e.g. records dinner & trip money and undertaking specific duties that support the day-to-day administrative operations of the school.


About you

The successful candidate will be hard working, with a friendly and outgoing disposition. They will be front of desk and interact with pupils, parents, visitors and other members of staff. You will be required to have:    

  • NVQ Level 2 in administration or equivalent qualification or experience.    
  • Support the Office Manager with the delivery of administration duties within the school.    
  • Reception duties, answering routine telephone and face to face enquiries and signing in visitors.    
  • Sorts and distributes mail.    
  • Good keyboarding skills.    
  • Have good IT Skills including proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.    
  • Work within the requirements of the trust'

Morice Town Primary Academy is a popular and successful school within the local and wider area. The children are aged 4 - 11 years old and we have a single form entry. Our children feel safe, cared for and well looked after. We have a strong bond with our parents as well as the community as a whole.
