About the role: Leigh Academy Bexley has an exciting opportunity to appoint an Administrator (Apprentice) to join and enhance the work of the administration team at our school, starting in January 2024. The successful candidate will be confident in providing a professional, welcoming, and efficient service. The candidate will be able to work flexibly under pressure, use their initiative and prioritise their workload. You will also undertake a Level 3 Business Administration apprenticeship delivered by LAT Apprenticeships. 

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate a high level of initiative, and computer literacy skills with an enthusiastic and committed approach to work.

This position offers an actual salary of £10,475 based on Term Time only, 36 hours per week. The role is initially offered on an 18-month contract approx, with every intention to make it permanent thereafter based on the successful completion of the apprenticeship programme.

Apprenticeship Summary

Working weeks:  Monday - Friday during school Term Time only

Total hours per week (on average): 36 hours per week (including the 20% training element of the Apprenticeship Programme) + holiday allowance

Apprenticeship duration: 18 months approx.

Programme delivery type:  All modules are delivered as online learning which can be completed at your place of work

Start date:  January 2024

Apprenticeship level:  Advanced Level Apprenticeship (Level 3)

Apprenticeship standard:  Business & Administration

Essential entry qualifications: GCSEs A* - C, Maths and English

Being part of Leigh Academies Trust: As of 1st September 2023, our Trust comprises 31 geographically organised academies (15 secondaries, 14 primaries and 2 special) educating 20,000 students, and employing 3,000 talented staff.
