We have a fantastic opportunity for a Behaviour and Safeguarding Administrator to join our school, you will be providing administrative support for the Deputy Headteachers, all Heads of Year and Student Managers. The successful candidate must be passionate about making a difference for our children. They will be someone who has the commitment, dedication, and relevant skills to embody our culture and help to raise standards throughout the school.
Royal Wootton Bassett Academy is an ambitious, oversubscribed and incredibly proud 11-18 school with 1,764 students on roll including 356 students in our very popular and successful Sixth Form. You will be responsible for;
- Diary maintenance of the DSL, production of termly attendance figures and safeguarding data.
- Organise Multi-Agency Forum & Contextual Safeguarding Meeting administration.
- Provide Administrative support for the Year Group Teams, providing attendance data and letters.
- Responsible for the administration of the after-school detentions, tracking notifications from teachers and sending communication to parents and dealing with parent queries.
- Providing analysis on detention attendance, track and following up student attendance to detentions.
- Provide support and help organise the Tutor Based Community Events.
- Administrative Support for Awards Process. Responsible to ensure MIS System is Set up, awarding points in SIMS for Biweekly conduct card awards and positive points awards.
- Sending letters home and emails via in touch on behalf of tutors and HOYs.

This is a varied and exciting role, the successful candidate must have good communication and computer skills, and a good general level of education including GCSE English and Maths, previous office/administrative experience, ability to work well as part of a team and use own initiative, ability to work under pressure, be discreet and have a mature and flexible approach.
