We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and talented Admission Officer in our
highly motivated and experienced team from February 2017

International Community School (ICS) is an independent International
Baccalaureate World School located in central London, providing a dynamic
learning community form 3 to 18 year old learners.

Learning at ICS is designed to be challenging, engaging, and relevant for
21st century learning. We use an inquiry driven approach to learning where
students construct, test, and revise or confirm their understanding. We use

Our approach to education focuses upon being an inclusive school. We have
developed English language and student support programmes to allow as many
children as possible to access the curriculum. Our small class sizes and
high student-to-teacher ratios enable us to provide a rigorous programme
for all students.

This post is ideal for an Admissions Officer and has experience in working
Primary or Secondary Schools.

Core responsibilities will include:

  • Implement the admissions strategy under the guidance of the Head
    of Department
  • Serve as the first contact for prospective parents, dealing with
    initial email and telephone enquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Manage enquiry recording and tracking, ensuring relevant and
    accurate information on the admissions database
  • Maintain the admissions cycle for all applicants: acknowledge
    applications, create admissions files, process applications until
    completion, process acceptances and follow up incomplete applications
  • Organise with principals and Head of School tours of the school
    for prospective families, when required

ICS has a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
and young people. All appointments are subject to Enhanced DBS
checks/Overseas Police Checks. During interview all candidates will be
asked to talk through their applications, including periods when they were
