Post type: Full-time, permanent. Term-time only working may be considered for the right candidate.

Hours: 37.5hrs per week, usually on a Monday to Friday basis. Flexibility with regard to working hours is essential as occasional evening and weekend work will be required.

Salary & holiday: £23,000 - £25,000 per annum, plus 28 days holiday plus bank holidays.


Lord Wandsworth College seeks to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic Admissions and Marketing Officer to support the Director of Admissions and Marketing in the day to day operations of the College’s admissions and marketing activities and assist in delivering the College’s marketing strategy in order to attain pupil targets.

This is an exciting and wide-ranging role with a variety of responsibilities to include:

  • Admissions database management
  • Management of entrance tests
  • Meeting prospective parent
  • Planning and execution of promotional events
  • Attending a variety of school events both internal and external
  • Preparation of admissions documentation
  • Capture and analysis of marketing data
  • Liaising with feeder schools
  • Administration of scholarship and bursary applications
  • Liaising with international agents and managing visa applications


The successful candidate will possess the motivation, enthusiasm and commitment to promote the College’s aims and ethos in the delivery of the role, which will include occasional evening and weekend work and travel. Personal warmth and an ability to inspire others, ideally with an understanding of the life of an independent boarding school community, is highly desirable. Previous experience/training in a school admissions or marketing role would be advantageous.
