Job overview

We are looking for an organised and friendly Admissions and Reception Officer to join our English Language Centre team as soon as possible on a permanent basis.

The role is varied and interesting and it is difficult to predict all the jobs that you will do and you will need to be flexible. Other ad hoc tasks may be required of you that are not specified in the job description below. The main tasks will include:

•           Process bookings

•           Act as back up to Registrar

•           Responsible for handling all emails to the main school account info@ and dealing with email enquiries

•           Answer the phone

•           Deal with enquiries and walk-ins

•           Responsible for overseeing data entry of passport information and discussing any visa issues with the students (with the Registrar)

•           Responsible for chasing up missing student data / missing data

•           Keep various sections of the website up to date as much as possible

•           Responsible for producing student cards

•           Responsible for entering student feedback onto database

•           Responsible for ordering and unpacking stationery

•           Responsible for student files (ordering and updating)

•           Other tasks as requested by the Registrar/Principal/Partners.


The salary for this position is £23,000-£24,000 dependent on experience.
