Job overview

Joining our Admissions and Reception Team, you will be responsible for staffing the front of house reception and following the Admissions policy to deliver outstanding application, interview and enrolment processes.

Providing the front of house reception and being first point of contact for all visitors, students and staff, you will ensure that all telephone and email enquiries are handled effectively, in a timely manner and are directed on to the appropriate person for action. You will provide high quality and accurate information to prospective and existing students, members of the public and staff, and maintain a record of all visitors to the College.

Educated to GCSE / Level 2 or equivalent with grades A-C in English and Maths, you will have experience of working in a customer focused environment which includes providing a high quality, courteous, informative and responsive service to customers. You should be computer literate with accurate keyboard and data inputting skills and be able to work effectively with a range of staff and as part of a team. 

Carshalton College and Merton College work in partnership and the post holder may at times be required to work across two sites.

Salary £9,816 to £10,130 per annum

Permanent, Part Time (21 hours per week, 36 weeks per annum)

Carshalton College is a co-educational further education college based in Sutton. It is a non-denominational school.

The college has been an education provider for over 60 years. It is a major provider of full-time, part-time, apprenticeships, access, undergraduate and supported learning courses.
