Bristol Grammar School is looking to appoint an Admissions Manager to start from June 2024.

The longest serving independent school in the city and nominated Sunday Times Southwest Independent Secondary School of the Year 2024, Bristol Grammar School has a rich heritage of academic success, providing an excellent education since its inception almost 500 years ago.

The Admissions, Marketing and Communications Department are responsible for promoting and upholding the reputation of Bristol Grammar School. Our aim is to inspire and attract families to BGS through a first-class admissions process, supporting the schools mission to provide an exceptional and rounded education to those who might benefit from it, regardless of their background and financial means.

The Admissions Manager is a lead brand ambassador for BGS, responsible for the planning and implementation of an effective pupil recruitment and retention campaign. The role will oversee the onboarding of all pupils, creating a welcoming and inclusive community from the outset, as they start their BGS journey across the Infant and Junior School, Senior School, and Sixth Form.

With an equal passion for education and customer service, the Admissions Manager will be a people-focused leader, guiding the admissions team to deliver core KPIs for the school; creating a diverse pupil community of children who love to learn.
