The BOA Multi Academy Trust are seeking to appoint an exceptional candidate to Assist the Head of Marketing and Admissions in the implementation of commercially viable business plans and marketing/recruitment activities/strategies to continuously improve and drive good levels of student recruitment and engagement in order to achieve the Trusts admissions targets.

Undertake the admissions and appeals processes for the BOA Group and to ensure the successful completion of the annual admissions round. Additionally, to support the admissions for the post-18 Foundation course and for future admissions across the Trust. Currently comprising of three academies – ‘BOA Creative, Digital and Performing Arts’ (opened in 2011), ‘BOA Stage and Screen Production Academy’ (opened in 2021) and ‘BOA Digital Technologies’ (opened in 2022) we recruit from across the region and different entrance points.

JOB PURPOSE

 

Assist the Head of Marketing and Admissions in the implementation of commercially viable business plans and marketing/recruitment activities/strategies to continuously improve and drive good levels of student recruitment and engagement in order to achieve the Trusts admissions targets.

 

Undertake the admissions and appeals processes for the BOA Group and to ensure the successful completion of the annual admissions round. Additionally, to support the admissions for the post-18 Foundation course and for future admissions across the Trust. 

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

·       To undertake the registration of applicants and to maintain all application, admissions, and appeals processes.

·       To plan and schedule dates and deadlines and to ensure the admissions & appeals function is efficiently and effectively organised.

·       To create and maintain relevant spreadsheets and databases used to track all applications, and to process and coordinate offers made/acceptances received.

·       To ensure accurate, timely and complete data recording and reporting.

·       Liaise with parent/carers, students, and schools to obtain relevant information including reports, attendance, and references as appropriate.

·       Ensure efficient responses to all BOA admissions enquiries through various channels. Providing relevant information, advice and guidance to prospective appellants.

·       Provide accurate and helpful advice about admissions & appeals both in person and in writing and to include distinctive issues such as foreign students and SENAR etc.

·       Support the organisation of aptitude workshops and prepare relevant paperwork for all applications, including invites and decision correspondence.

·       Liaise with LA Admissions teams on a regional basis as appropriate.

·       Produce data and statistics to assist in the evaluation and future planning for the admissions and appeals process.

·       Collate detailed information relating to KS2 results for new Year 10s and GCSE and A-Level option choices for new Y12 students, etc.

·       Support the transfer of KS4 students to post-16 and prepare relevant forms, spreadsheets, and letters.

·       Support the admissions for the post-18 Foundation course.

·       Support the Appeals process, preparing and providing relevant information within statutory deadlines and guidance; including the preparation for appeal hearings and the independent appeals process, as required.

·       Prepare for, and promote at, the academies at various launch, careers and progression events including regional school visits and other recruitment, and marketing events as necessary, including BOA open evenings and information evenings.

·       Assist with the production of promotional material for any events.

·       Review and refine all admissions and appeal processes in line with plans for continuous improvement.

·       Prepare an Admissions and Appeal user guide for the team.

·       Research and prepare for admissions to the multi academy trust

·       Support the enrolment and induction of new students including data collection and input of relevant data into SIMS.

·       To support the Head of Marketing and Admissions with administration of BOA Alumni.

·       Ensure all materials are produces in line with branding guidelines.

·       Deliver the marketing strategy as directed with a focus on lead generation and optimisation.

·       Act as an ambassador for the Group, celebrating the success of the academies and inspiring others to do likewise, both internally and externally.

·       Support on all research activity (including parent and leaver surveys), as directed.
