Job overview

The post-holder will be member of a team of admissions with responsibility for the admissions of students. S/he will be working closely with the heads of school (primary and secondary) and will be liaising with schools and directly with parents/applicants. S/he will also be expected to participate in recruitment activities such as Open Days, etc and to support. This varied role requires the exercise of initiative, strong administrative and excellent interpersonal skills. The candidates must be fully bilingual French and English , additionnal languages (like Spanish, Portuguese, German, Dutch, etc...) will be higly considered . 

Main Tasks:

  • Manage the admissions process in close liaison with academic departments, 
  • Applying agreed criteria to make admissions decisions consistently and fairly.
  • Take prospective families on campus tours 
  • Handle telephone and email enquiries from prospective students, their parents, teachers and advisers independently and in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process incoming applications, checking qualifications
  • Enter decisions and generate offers using the school CRM (Faria Open Apply) and export data into our ERP (WCBS PASS) with the aim of 100% accuracy.
  • Liaise regularly with both academic and administrative staff.

Haut-Lac International Bilingual School is a K-12 school nestled in the hills above Vevey (Switzerland) that boasts state-of-the-art campuses with breathtaking views of Lake Geneva and the Alps.

The Primary school campus and extensive whole-school sport facilities were completed in 2014. It is situated close to the secondary school in St-Légier, and comprises classrooms, specialist art and music rooms, a library, a uniform shop, a teaching kitchen and numerous offices. Modern facilities at the secondary campus include specialist IT rooms and Computer Aided Design (CAD) technology linked to a laser cutter and plastic former in the tech lab. Saint-Légier-La Chiésaz is located in the canton of Vaud, and has a total population of approximately 5,000.
