Job overview
We are seeking to appoint an Admissions Registrar who will play a key role in the recruitment and retention of students across St Columba’s College & Preparatory School.
The successful candidate will take overall responsibility for ensuring that all aspects of the registry and admissions processes from first point of contact with prospective parents to enrolment and beyond are managed in an efficient and highly customer focused way.
The role is busy, varied and interesting. The ideal candidate will have previous Registrar experience or strong administrative/management experience gained within an education environment. In addition to having a friendly and welcoming manner to prospective parents and pupils, they will also need to be well organised and have a high level of computer literacy. The role requires not only the inputting of data onto the College’s management information system but the capability to provide reports and recommendations to the Leadership Team on admissions numbers and trends. An ability to work flexibly is also required at certain evening and weekend events. The College will consider flexible working arrangements during the school holiday periods.
St Columba’s College is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and an enhanced DBS check forms part of the appointment process, including checks with past employers.

About St Columba’s College
Welcome
Welcome to St Columba's College, a school that prides itself on an education of both the head and the heart. We are committed to excellence in all areas of our College life, from the academic rigour in the classroom through to providing our young people with a wide range of specialist programmes that will enhance and enrich their lives.
From our Prep School through to the Senior School and Sixth Form, a Columban education is instilled in our students - that success lies in academic excellence, achieved through the cultivation of personal attention, supportive discipline and all underpinned by religious values. We see this clearly reflected in every member of our College community and we are proud of each and every one of our young people. Our pastoral care is excellent and our relationships with each other reflect the core values of the College and its belief that true and exceptional education is holistic. This education is built on the vision and traditions of the Brothers of the Sacred Heart and its founder, Fr Andre Coindre.
In a rapidly changing world, we believe that St Columba's College equips young people with academic standards and values that they need for success and, in recognising the uniqueness of our students, we prepare them to be the leaders of the future.
I very much look forward to welcoming you to St Columba's College.
